I need to chose between two different months sales in this Ad-Hoc report. Please help!

I need to compare the sales difference between previous month or old months.

Example:

I wanted to pick Aug and July so that I could see sales difference between these months.

Aug Sales, July Sales, Difference

1000, 500, 500

10,5,5

30,20,10

In addition to that I wanted to use Months so that I can compare between diff Months.

I've no idea how to use Months comparisons.
