Align menu

I would like to konw how to use Align menu, because it is always disable ( or not active). Thank you for your time.

Layout -> Align/Distribute ->

You have to select at least 2 objects to use align options. Try some of them - you will easily see how it works ...

Sorry guys, i have tried all your suggestions and same thing (Grayed out). I have check the objects layout options too.
