Allocated Memory Exceeded

Hi Qlikers,

I have an issue where I have designed which looks and works perfectly until I close it down and reopen it to see "Allocated Memory Exceeded on some of the charts. Then when I reload the application, everything comes back and as long as I don't close the application, things look fine, but if I close it again the problem comes back. I saw a similar post Allocated memory exceeded on the community, but the solution is not very helpful as I wouldn't want to reload my application every time I open it.

Is there a way to trouble shoot what exactly is the problem here?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Sunny

Let me see if I can implement Vinay Bangari suggestion. If that doesn't work, I will provide more details.

But thanks for your help on this Manish Kachhia

Hey Manish‌, Please find a sample application where I am facing this issue. Right now the issue can only be seen in a text object, but as I fill in more data into the application, the below chart will also start giving problems. I am attaching a excel file so that you can see the effects of reloading.

Please see and let me know if you have a good way to handle this situation.

Best,

Sunny

I had a similar issue. A combo chart was working for my colleague but when I opened it, It gave me "Allocated Memory Exceeded" error. I figured the problem was my QV version.

The problem got resolved after upgrading to the Latest Version of QV.  Apparently, they fixed this problem in SR1 but I had QV11 SR 12 installed and still was getting this error. I had to upgrade to QV 12 to resolve the problem.
