Bar chart dimension

I have a bar chart plot between Product Type against Margin.

When I use dimension as Product and Expressions as Margin not work exactly as I expected as when I click on the bar it will drill down to a single bar.

So I replace margin as SUM({<[Product Type]=>} Margin), that way it resolve when select margin the bar chart will drill down to a single bar. However I am curious any other option I can use to avoid SUM here? As for my case Margin is not additive.

It will be fine with SUM() as long as you do not have duplicate rows of data for the Margin
