Between dates set analysis with variables

what is the right syntax for the following:

sum({<Date= {"<=$(=vYesterday))>=$(=vLastWeek)"}> } Sales)

for some reason it doesn't work..

(vYesterday and vLastWeek are variables)

Try this:

sum({<Date= {"<=$(=vYesterday)"}, Date = {">=$(=vLastWeek)"}> } Sales)

sum({<Date= {'<=$(=vYesterday) >=$(=vLastWeek)'}> } Sales)

Did u check both are in same format?
