Buttons not working in server

On clicking a button I am opening an external qvw file. It works fine in Qlikview but it is not working in server.

hi, I suggest you to go through Qlik view Reference manual. Even earlier i had same problem . check wih the document - "21.6 Consideration... "in qvs doc..

I also face a similar problem:

I have a few buttons, when I select one of them a value of variable changes. I use this variable in object's Layout tab to state its conditional show. This means: when I press firts button some sheet objects appear, and when I press second button other sheet objects appear.

It works perfectly in Qlikview (Desktop) but does not work in Server (Windows client).

Although Server Reference manual says that: Operations changing variable values work fine in server.

Maybe someone can help me and give an advice.

Changing values of variable works fine in server, but the process of how we are running tat is a question mark.

for eg., In desktop version wen using external application will work fine, but same will not work in publisher version.
