Calendar to Facts

Hi,

I have two fact table. In both the tables I have transaction dates. When I am joining tranasaction tables to Calendar Object, I am getting circular key.

How can I remove this ?

Kindly help.

Here I want to remove the lnk between two the two fact(Sales and Target). These two table should be joined to Calendar table.

LOAD

Fiscal_Year & Fiscal_Month as Fiscal_YM,

Fiscal_Year,

Fiscal_Month

Target:

Fiscal_Year & Fiscal Month as Fiscal_YM,

Fiscal_Year as Fiscal_Year_Target,

Fiscal _Month as Fiscal_Month_Target

..............................

Sales:

Fiscal_Year & Fiscal_Month as Fiscal_YM,

Fiscal_Year as Fiscal_Year_Sales,

Fiscal _Month as Fiscal_Month_Sales

Here it will create circular key, As key column name is same in all the three tables

It isn´t a circular.

LOOK Atach qvw.

If you don´t like this solution another way is create a new intermediate table with all date.. and you can unit the other tables with this.
