Call function when Cyclical Expression changes?

I was able to work out a sort for Cyclical Expression using a function, modified from Daniel Baksa  (see https://community.qlik.com/message/760492#760492).

The sort works, if I manually run the function (Cntl-M).  Can I have the function fire when a user changes the Cyclical Expression?

There's an easier way to do this. See attached example. If you don't like the input box you can also create an inline table in the script with the expressions and/or field names and use a listbox. See this blog post for more information about that option: Customizable Straight Table
