Hello,

Your email is the ID QlikView maintains not only for the Community site but for your whole access to QlikView sites, (partner portal, downloads, and of course, Community). You have to contact yout partner manager or account manager within your company in order to get that change done. You can give a try to support@qlik.com as well, although the former will probably go faster.

It's not possible to do it in the preferences, if that's what you mean.

Hope that helps.

Why Qlikview requires official ID rather than a personal ID?

It can ask for an official ID for registration purpose to avoid bogous registration, but once registered it should allow the user to change the user id to even a personal email id.

Hi,

You indeed can register using your personal email address instead of your corporate email address. What you cannot do, for the time being, is changing your email address.

Unfortunately I don't have the exact answer for this, but my guess is that since you are registering and likely downloading the Personal Edition you are kind of a "customer", and since QlikView PE is free to use, it's just a type of follow-up. The log in works not only for the QlikCommunity as a forum, but for a lot of other services as well (e-training, white papers, software downloads, demos, and so).

Anyway, contacting either the support team or your Partner Manager or Sales Rep shouldn't take long.

Hope that makes sense.
