Hi - has anyone used Qlikview to display & track carbon footprint reduction?
This is an interesting new area for me & I am just commencing research.
From what I understand so far, an organisation's carbon footprint is made up of a relatively simple calculation covering three main areas:
Energy Consumption (eg Gas & Electricity);
Waste-to-landfill (eg skip loads which equate to tonnes of waste);
Travel (eg air, rail, auto).
This is probably a gross simplification, but should be sufficient for my purposes - so my appologies to all the environmental experts out there. There are other areas that can also be considered such as refridgerators used etc., but this is not applicable to our circumstances.
Any help & guidance with sample calculations or qlikview documents, much appreciated.
