Its not kind of academic exams. I heard from communities that the book was helpful for preparing. Also when you read that book, it will make you to work practically. It will make you to ask questions and you will get answers there...sometimes here. You will come to know when you complete the book.
If that one book is not sufficient for you...
Read reference manuals that comes with installation.
Read the helpfile.
Watch out this community atleast an hour a day. Contribute something if you can.
Unlike other certification exams, there is no dumps or model question papers for this qv certification exam(AS FAR AS I KNOW).
For clearing QV Certification reading is not enough, lot of practice required. Practice all concepts in Qlikview with different sets of data Sample Databases / sample data in Excel etc.
Follow the community regularly and try to solve the questions posted by fellow developers. This way you will get more knowledge on realtime scenarios.
Every exam is different, as the list of questions is assembled dynamically for every examinee. Moreover, before proceeding to the real exam, every examinee has to "sign" an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and promise not to divulge any details, questions or related information about certification exams. Just to make sure that you understand why nobody is eager to talk about the content of the exam.
Also make sure that you have ample experience in designing, developing and publishing QlikView solutions, as many questions will draw from your experience and not necessarily from what knownledge you got from books and manuals.
Learning everything by heart is no guarantee for success in this case.
As Jagan suggested , reading book is not enough you should have practical experience as qtns are logical . So if you have done data modeling well and developed applications in QV and read the book also giving your time to community and youtube. you will definitely clear the certification.
