Chart Should not drill

hi I have chart which has 2 dimensions.

State & City

When I click on state it expands and shows cities of it. When I click it should not drill. Now when I click on particular city, shows only selected city.

please help

May be using Alternate States is one way ?

                         In the General tab set the chart to Read only.

Use set analysis to ignore selection in City field I guess. Let say you had Sum(Measure) as an expression, change it to Sum({<City>} Measure)
