Clear and calendar object

Hi

How to make calendar object remain uncleared even after clear button

I knew alternate states is one option but that is not my requirement .It  has other impact on my dashboard which is not desired.

Any Ideas !!!

I think you need at first to lock the date-field, then clear (all) field(s) and then unlock the date-field again. Also useful could  be to use a bookmark for this.
