Client_Type in Governance Dashboard

Hello all,

I'm trying to get an understanding of how my users are leveraging QlikView. Client_Type should be the field that displays the 'source' that the user accessed an app from. Currently 80% of my users for a specific app are displaying as using the Desktop Client (Windows EXE) under Client_Type.

This is not at all possible given our users don't have access to connect to our server from a desktop client.

Does anyone know why this is displaying this way? Are these artifacts/errors?

Hi Jeffrey,

The client type 'Windows EXE', refers to either the IE Plug-in or the Desktop Client.

It's frustrating, not being able to separate the two, but it might explain you situation.
