Connection with Oracle DB?

   I am very new to Qlikview. Can anyone help me how i can connect oracle db with qlikview?

This is a typical oracle connection string, created automatically by QV if you select ODBC --> Microsoft Ole DB provider :

ODBC CONNECT TO [dbsomething;DBQ=DB00_APP.WORLD] (XUserId is Z1YSHSIRJJaSMVEVIXacA, XPassword is LcFPKXNGXDMcW33ZI2W);

Need to have an Oracle Client installed on the same machine.

u should install oracle connectivity driver in your system

to connect database with qlikview.

these driver are provided by oracle itself.

when u purchase oracle ..
