Create a data set off vConcat?

All, I have a data set, lets call it Jan thru Dec. I have a set analysis working

vPeriod = {$(=concat(DISTINCT '"' & B & '"', ',' ))} >}

This allows me to have a user select "7" and you end up with the reveneu from 1-7.

What I would like is another variable that they select that automatically selects vPeriod, thus

if they select "Jul", it would than in turn know i want teh field vPeriod selected for 1-7
