Date placement in model

Hi All

I have very basic question.

Where to take different dates related to claims in fact table or in dimension table?

Does any one have any application related to this?

Can you expand on that questions? Not sure if I understand. And great if you can upload an example.

Generally speaking, Fact tables contain transactions of some kind, and these are usually time-based. I have never used Date in anything other than a Fact table, but you may have a different situation here.
