Days count for year,month and week

Hi Experts,

  I have struck one place please give me any suggesion to come out from this.

in my application year , Month and week field is there along with sales field , i have to show the year wise sales and month wise sales and week wise also.

while displaying year wise sales i have to substract the sales by days wise , i mean suppose in 2014 have 1000 sales it should divide by 365 days (what are the days is existed in the perticular year), for current year from year starting to till date for this year (ex : 148 days like ),

for month also same, sales should substract by number of days for perticular month, for current month also it should substract by from month start to till date

for week also same, sales should substract by number of days for perticular  week , for current week  also it should substract by week start date to till date.

  Thanks for reply but in my chart we have jan,feb,mar...and i have some sales values like 10416(jan sales value),26754(Feb sales value)....

Now i want substract   :::: 10416/numberof days for janmonth 

like this for alll months, and current month from motnh start to till date

like week also.

please give me any suggesion on this.

Hi,

You  have to take Month year, as for month only you cannot decide days.

As an example Feb 2014 and Feb 2015 will have different no of days. Also, only month as dimension will show sales for a month in all years. so no of days will be different taking all years month.

each week will have 7 days. So days are fixed.

  Thank you very much for replay but for current month we have only 27 days data so it should substract sum(sales)/ numberof days in current month or previous month.

in cases of  month and week, days are restricted till data of maximum available date.
