Desktop QV URL creation

I would like to run QV report (desktop version) using links from another application. Those links must be generated as URLs and I would like to pass variable value inside of the URLs.

I'm trying to run:

file://C:\QVReports\ReportName.qvw /vVariable=123

but it doesn't work. Any tips?
