So I have a chart in order to detach it , I have created an alternate state in document properties , and selected the same state in chart , but still when I make selection in my filters the chart changes.. not sure how and why ... is there a setting I am missing ?
Its a large document , btw if I take some sample data and do the same then I don't see the issue ,
so what I noticed is, I am working on the document who someone owned , and looks like all the filters have inherited or default state selected , in this case the detached is not working but if I select some other alternate state which is used by some other chart then the detach seem to work .
for eg :
My charts alternate state name is ABC , filter's alternate state is inherited or default - detach will not work
My charts alternate state name is ABC , filters alternate state is BDE ( which is used by some ther chart) - detach works!!
