Detecting and setting column sorting in Straight table.

Given one sheet with two straight tables with similar columns, is there a mechanism, perhaps via macro, that would 1) allow detection of when a user sorts on a column in one table, and 2) force the second table to sort on a specific (similar) column?

You can set sort order by a macro, but I doubt that it is possible to read sort order.
