Do I need to create a QVD?

Hi,

If I want to make a quick document pulling data from a few Oracle tables, do I have to write the sql to then create the temp table then create a qvd from the temp table and then after this create another document that will pull the qvd?

Ideally I want the most up to date query so i was thinking of connected straight to the oracle source then schedule this document every 2 minutes so the user will see the data in near enough real time?

Is this okay to do any downsides?

If you need to perform this procedure with a short interval of time, I think this action valid

If you don't plan to reuse this data nowhere else, then it's valid don't creating QVDs,
