The hidden script keeps the password for the session, so when you open the document and access for the first time to the hidden script, you are prompted. You draw some charts and need to go back to the script, the hidden script tab is there and you don't need to enter credentials again.
If you close the document and reopen it, then yes, you will be prompted. You may think of using the hidden script in a different file, then load it using an $(include=) until the development ends and there is no need to edit the script so often.
