File QVW with 0KB

Hello everybody:

I have had a problem with a file.

After making a reload the file was converted in a file 0kb with any data, objects, etc...

I assume that I have lost the work made, but what it is strange is that when open the file at the top of the programme appears the title with the extension with * like "XXXX.qvw*".

Somebody can say me what does mean this * in the extension?

I think that is Windows default for indicating a modified and not saved document / content.
