Has anyone created a SCOM dashboard?

I am tasked with creating a dashboard over Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager. I am having some trouble in creating the data model because it is extremely complicated. It has a data warehouse with preconfigured views, but I am unable to completely understand it all.

Has anyone made one of these? If so, would it be possible to either use your datamodel layer or explain how I should go about this?
