[View:http://community.qlik.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/11/7635.Hierarchie.xls:550:0]

Hello,

I need a hierarchy from an excel sheet. The goal is to see managers, department managers and employees in an hierarchial structure.

Can anyone solve the problem? See the attached file.

Greetings,

Michael

Hi Michael,

here are an example based on your excel file.

The kind of table Martina mentioned are used most if we talking about hierarchies.

Good luck!

Hello Rainer,

i tried to build up the hierarchy by using an example from another post. But it does not work, can you help?

data:

LOAD

Geschäftsführer,

Abteilungsleiter,

Mitarbeiter

FROM C:/Hierarchie.xls(ooxml, embedded labels, table is Tabelle1);

DrillDown:

HIERARCHY (Geschäftsführer, Abteilungsleiter, Mitarbeiter, 'Tree View', '/')

LOAD

Geschäftsführer,

Abteilungsleiter,

Mitarbeiter

RESIDENT data;

Drop Table data;

The Excel looks like this:

Geschäftsführer Abteilungsleiter Mitarbeiter

1 23 2

1 23 3

... .... ....

Hallo, Michiha85,
