How does Qlik SAP report connection to SAP report ?

Hi All,

I am trying to fetch data from SAP report using Qlik SAP report connector.

As far as my understanding , qlik fetch data from spool of the mentioned report and variant name.

My question is that if the SAP report runs 3-4 times a day, a new spool file will be created every time as output.

So, which spool does qlik use to fetch data? the latest one or is there any other logic involved?

Also, it will be really helpful if you can explain the whole work flow of data from SAP report to qlik view using SAP report connector.

Hi Harshit,

When the Qlik SAP Report Connector requests data from the report, a new spool file is created if the report is written that way (not all reports generate a spool file and the connector cannot retrieve the data). When all table data has been retrieved, the spool file is deleted.
