How to manage changes in multiple workstreams in Qlikview projects?

We have recently embarked on  a greenfield Qlikview project in our company. We are expecting to have multiple work streams after we go live. i.e. Development, Support and Test. I would like to know if there are any best practices in qlikview for this and/or how this is managed at other organisations?
