Issue with reading Excel files from Sharepoint

I have a minor issue with reading Excel files from Sharepoint.

Everything works 100% of the time if I load through the client application.

However when I run it through the publisher (standard), the first time fails. The second time it runs through successfully.

This is on version 8.5.

Any thoughts?
