Lasso Points on a Scatter Chart

Good afternoon,

Is it possible to allow end users to lasso points on a scatter plot enabling them to see the detail for those points (see example below where I would group the three points within the circle together)?  I want them to be able to study outliers and be able to see the detail associated with them to take action.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Hello, Luke!

There is no such tool like a lasso. User can only select dots by squared area. If there are too many points, user can do multiple selections to zoom area to certain points.
