List Box Expression Tab - Null Symbol Vs Missing Symbol

Can someone please help on this?

1. What is the difference between the Null Symbol Vs Missing Symbol in the List Box Expression Tab? What is null value and what is missing value? How to distinguish those two?

2. In the same list box General Tab - What is the difference between Normal Search and Wildcard search?

Please do not copy paste the description from help manual because I did not understand that description.

Thanks in advance

1. Of course you could apply very strikt definitions to explain the differences between them but practically are NULL and MISSING nearly the same. A good explanation could you find here: NULL – The Invisible Nothing.

2. A normal search will find only direct matches and wildcard searches instead will also find the search-value among other values. For example: a wildcard search of *Miss* will find Missing and Mississippi and the normal seach instead will only find the direct entry of Miss and nothing else.
