Microsoft Lync data

I am looking to pull some basic utilization metrics to put in a dashboard around Microsoft Lync.  While I can start from scratch I was wondering if anyone had any sample load statements/queries against the CDR (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398570(v=ocs.14).aspx) which might get me going.
