Multi Buttons to select in a Field

Hi

I have an area field (North, South, East and West)

And 4 buttons (North, South, East and West)

The buttons current have 2 actions, Select in Field e.g. “North” and I have a Set Variable e.g. =if(vEast=1,0,1)

Plus the colour is calculated so if the Variable = 1 its Green else it’s Blue.

This all works fine if I just want to select one area at a time e.g. “North” but my question is how can configure the buttons so when they are Green I keep the selection so for an example I could have “North” and “South” selected.
