Multiline dimension legends

Hello

I cannot find a way to have multiline dimension legends in Bar chart. I would like to wrap dimension legend into 2 lines but I'm only able to do that in Staright Table or Pivot Table Charts.

Hi

do not see an option to make it multiline. You can press SHIFT+CTRL when in the chart and it will give you the option to resize the drawing areas (the red lines can be moved)

The scenario is, I have two fields First Name and Last Name loaded as Name field. Using Name as one of the Dimensions in the bar chart. Need to display the First Name and Last Name as separate lines in the chart.

Hi Sugith,

I hav'nt found an option to do it. In fact we had few scenarios where we had big dimension names but we had to reduce it abbreviations and provide a textbox expanding the abbreviations next to the graph for user understanding.

Hi Sugith,

Try This Solution for your problem,

In dimension, use

=First Name&chr(10)&Last Name

and Label this dimension as Name

and In chart properties --> Axes tab -->in Dimension axes select tilled type of Primary and Secondary dimensions labels style
