Not able to pass Variable value in URL

Hi ,

I have Doc1 and Doc2.

I am passing parameters in URL.

I am able to pass List Box selection but not able to pass variable value with URL.

For example:

In this below link i want to pass value Var_1='XXX' so Var_1 from Doc2 will have 'XXX' value.

http://servername/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=ProdAccessPoint/Test.qvw&host=QVS%20HDCluster&sheet...

AFAIK it's not supported to transfer variable-values within url's.
