I am trying to install Oracle Provider for OLEDB and followed the link below, while installing I am facing environment path variable issue saying its exceeding. I tried following below, but didnt work. Any idea?
This issue can be resolved by editing PATH variable and removing unwanted characters/paths ( do not remove any system related paths which contain %SYSTEMROOT% etc.. )
Navigation: My Computer –> right click –> properties –> Advanced –> Environment Variables –> Select PATH in system Variables. (in Win 7 (64) -> Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced TAB click Environment Variables > Select PATH in System Variables) . Remove unwanted variables.
Having done the above steps, press “Retry” button to continue with the installation.
