% Percentage Symbol in the chart

Dear all,

I wanted to add the % in my chart. when i tick 'Show In Percent' under the 'Number' option. The symbol shown but the value changed as well.

Hi,

Divide by 100 to the expression and  tick 'Show In Percent' under the 'Number' option.

It's working. But not sure why do we need this for adding just a symbol??

Hi,

When you are selecting Show Pecentage option in Number tab of Chart Properties, internally Qlikview multiplies into 100 and displays in percentage.   So, to cancelling that multiplication we are dividing the value by 100.

=((Actual Value) * Qlikview % Multiplication) / 100 = Actual Value
