Performance of tables

Are their any noticeable performance advantages of strait tables over pivot or pivot over strait?

I haven't noticed a big difference, but what makes big impact is what you put on the dimension and expression. If you are using a formula or many "if" conditions, I have seen the performance going down drastically. There have been many discussion about best practices here in the forum for the performance of app and charts, so I won't go too deep in that discussion here.

I agree, I've read most of those and If statements tend to drag things down. I was just curious if it showed up this level as well.

Thanks for your post.
