Please Help Count/Distinct Count

Hi,

I have a table with two columns (see below)

Item	Status
123	0
123	0
32	1
12	1
12	1
1	0

I need to calculate the total number of distinct items and also calculate total number of completed Distinct items (Status = 1)

eventually i need a percentage representation.

Please help me figure this requirement. Thank you for your time and help.
