QVConnect HEAD.Component.Version stopped working

Hi All,

Below is the error we get in QV 12 when we try top do edit script.

please refer attached image.

May be this is something to do with the antivirus program restricting the installation .exe file & other settings of the computer.

Try like:

This problem might be cause by your anti-virus program. For a resolution on this you could extract the .msi package and install from these files.

1. Run in command  prompt.

2. Find the desktop installation exe file.

3. Run the command > Qlik_View_Desktop_setup.exe -layout c:\temp

4. Go to C:\temp\AttachedContainer\ViewDesktop.msi and install it.

5. Also install the DemoApps.

So you open QlikView Desktop, then the QVW app, then try to go to Script Editor and see that message?

Does it happen with a different version of QlikView 12? Which version are you using?
