Qlik as data integration

Hi, i'm new of qlik view.

I would create a transformation in Qlik, such as that which

can be created in other BI Data Integration tools.

That is, importing tables from database in QV and setting any transformation (Joining, lookup, mapping).

How could i do it? Suggestions, tutorials, video.....
