We currently have several application deployed on our server. The applications are used by users. Users also created their own sheets based off of their application.
We have updates to these application on our desktop. If we upload the new qvf files and replace with the apps, we the users lose the sheets they created?
If yes, how can we make make updates to the qvf files without the users losing the sheet which they have created? Thanks.
I believe you will have to manually do this. I'm guessing there wont be any complex backend changes involved as the users are not developers. In which case, you can just copy and paste the objects to your qvf and then deploy it. Can be a bit time consuming but I don't think there is a workaround.
Also, this is QlikView board you've posted in and if you want a better response from other community members maybe you should move it to Qlik Sense board.
