Qlik upgrades compatability

Hi guys,

We have a situation to go with upgrades like below.

Current plan is to upgrade to Qlik Sense 14.54.20 February 2022 and Qlik Nprinting 21.14.6 May 2021 SR3 versions

No plan for  Qlikview upgrade now and  the current verson is Qlikview 12.20.20600.0 November 2017 SR8.

Is it ok for qlikview to be like same version(old version) ?

Please let me know if I will face any issues with this approach.

I don't believe there are any connections between QlikView and QlikSense installs.

Hi,

According to the system requriements, 12.20 is not supported.

• QlikView April 2019 (12.40) or higher
• QlikView April 2020 SR2 (12.50 SR2) or later
• QlikView May 2021 (12.60) or higher

Hi @Jay587,

In addition to Bill's great point about QlikView 12.20 not being supported with NPrinting May 2021 SR3, the version QlikView 12.20 itself reached end of life almost 3 years ago. So in order to get assistance from Qlik Support and Qlik R&D, you'll need to be running a supported version. Currently QlikView versions 12.60 and 12.70 are supported so we suggest you upgrade in order to remain in compliance. Thanks!
