Qlikview Publisher functions

Hello,

Can anyone tell what are the functions from Qlikview Pulisher?

As far as I've learned that one of the functions is loading data from different sources. But the Qlikview Developer can do it also. Why do we need the Publisher then? or is there any limitation for the Developer application?

publisher is used to

Deploy a application to server

Create a task

distribute the application

Categories the document

distribute the Pdf reports

Provide section access

It gives me more details what Publisher can do.

However, can you say also something about the function that it connects to different sources?

What is the difference with the Developer?

Developer task is to load and create different charts and table and use different object of qlikview.

use macro code ,connect to different data source.

where as Published deals with ddeployment and manangement of application

By assigning user who want to access it
