I downloaded the qlikview free on the website and after launching, I had the error message "Error reading the initialization file".
I have no documentation for this installation, the manual only deal with DVD installation right ?
Do someone know what could happen ?

Sound like a corrupt download file to me. Redownload the file and double check that your computer has all the minimum requierements necessary.
