Hi what is normal qvw file size in manufacturing domain projects

give me example fromany manufacturing domain from having 20 to 25 qvds

let me take your qvd size as 400MB  then your qvw size should be  9.76 GB

qlikviewqvw size =  400*25*8

             =80000MB/1024MB

            = 78.152 GB

78.152 GB size will loaded in to RAM

So John, the multiple of 8 is not a rule. There a lot of variables as data model, rows, coluns.

I always recommend to make this formula:

qvw file size * total of simultaneous users * multipilicator factor (8 to 10).

If you have a total of users only, estimated 10% or 20% as simultaneous.
