I am in the process of choosing a tool/technology that helps us to build a quick reconciliation application that does the following. We have Qlikview, SSRS, SAS. If nothing works, we need to build an application using our WebDev team.
- Read two sources of data
- Present these data side by side
- Allow the user to choose the keys to match. We have a situation where not all of them need to be matched with the same key. We can start with 4 variable keys to match and whatever is not matching, we need to try with three variable keys and so on.
- Also when we have duplicates, If possible, we need capture a decision (flag) from the user.
- Allow the user to refresh the presentation to use the data captured from him/her.
Do any of you think Qlikview can be a tool of choice? The problem I see is the automatic association and writing data from the user.
