RowNo as an Expression or Calculated Dimension

Hi guys.

I was wondering if I can use RowNo() in an expression or calculated dimension. I have seen examples of this but they always used directly in the script, the point is I'm new in QlikView and even dare not touch the data model I have in charge.

How I can use RowNo in a table to generate a consecutive numeric ? or is it not possible?

Thanks to all

Hello!

In a Straight Table, you can use RowNo() as an Expression, generating a consecutive numeric.

Hope it helps.

It is possible. If you have a single dimension, then RowNo() and with Multiple Dimensions you can use RowNo(TOTAL)
