Search object:Designing; Change Look and Feel

Hello Community,

I was wondering if it is possible to change the Look and Feel for the Search Object we have. By that I mean anything from below:

     1) Remove the Search(Magnifier) Image at extreme left side.

     2) Change the Arrow Style on extreme right side.

Do we have any extension object available for this.
