Set analysis with calendar

Dear all!

Got simple, but i bit confusing example with some task.

I have simple data set with calendar dates and other related field.

1. I created one text box, which calculates the last previous date (base on selected calendar date in selections), where Calendar Month=1. Calculation is correct

2. WHAT I NEED - calculate the second text box with the same logic as in the first, but to show Calendar Selection Date. So if we select 24/04/2017 - expected result is Oct'16.. etc.

There is something weird with the Calendar Selection Date field.

Nothing weird, i just show last possible date in Date format.
